Work towards your first scuba diving certificate by taking the Scuba Diver Course.
This course is designed to accommodate those who don't want to dedicate their
entire holiday in training. Combine your dive education and diving at the same time.
This course will certify you dive up to 12 meters depth under the direct supervision of
a professional.
To subscribe to the Scuba Diver Course, you must be 10 years or older, in a good
physical health and you need to have basic swimming skills.
Over 2 days your instructor will introduce you to the basic physics, equipment,
environment and joy of scuba diving. With a combination of diving theory, pool
practice and two open water dives you will make your first fin kicks in the underwater
world of the Red Sea.
So what should you expect of the Scuba Diver Course?
After completing the requisite paperwork, you will begin your classroom theory with a
series of short videos and exercises from your Open Water Diver training manual.
Your instructor will go over the first 3 chapter. Each chapter tackling over different
aspects of diving such as equipment, physics, emergency procedures, environmental
considerations and more. And above all lucky you, there is no exam!
After this theoretical part, you will head with your instructor to the swimming pool for
the confined water session. You will begin to get acquainted with the diving
equipment as you learn how to set up and take apart your dive equipment. You will
also learn valuable skills in a safe training environment, forming the basis of your
open water training. Your instructor will teach you to master basic skills and
buoyancy techniques. And you will practice until you feel comfortable enough to
perform the skills in open water at a depth of 10 meters.
Now start the good part. You will complete two open water dives to a depth of
maximum 12 meters. During these dives you will repeat the skills you have learned in
the swimming pool and add new skills to your repertoire. Over these dives you will
practice planning your dives, honing your buoyancy and feeling comfortable
underwater. And the most important, you will explore and marvel at the magic of the
underwater world as you dive with creatures of the sea.
